It's October and we’re making candles! We're so excited to have Emily from Eloise and Oliver guest hosting this month to guide us through the process of making a hand-poured candle. You'll learn the science of proper wax melting and mixing, how to measure the right ratio of fragrance to wax, and so much more. For your candle, you'll get to choose either a pumpkin-shaped jar or a simple amber jar, and Emily will have a selection of fragrances available so you can make a candle that is uniquely yours!

Once your candle is made, spend the rest of the evening painting two complimentary taper candles to take home, or choose to make additional poured candles for $20 each - a great option to make some holiday gifts! We'll have a card reader available so you can see how your first candle goes, and purchase extra supplies in person if you'd like to make more.

OPTION - If you were at our candle vessel pottery workshop in the spring and want to re-fill it, you can do this as an additional candle. The cost might vary depending on the size of your vessel!

After the workshop, Emily will bring your candles back to her studio to cure for around 1 week. We'll reach out once they're ready for pick up, which will be at Eloise and Oliver's storefront at 107 Princess Street.

WHAT'S INCLUDED:

• Light snacks and non-alcoholic drinks
• All the supplies and guidance you'll need to make one 8-9 oz candle
• 2 taper candles, paint, and brushes
• Additional supplies to make more poured candles ($20 per candle to be paid at the event)
• 3 hours of dedicated crafting time with cozy music and a relaxed atmosphere

This is an 18+ event. 

All crafting levels are welcome. Supplies will be prepared based on the number of tickets sold and as such, refunds will not be offered. However, you are welcome to transfer your ticket to another individual. Please contact hello@kelseyeleanor.com to notify of the new attendee's name. Most importantly, this is an inclusive event where disrespect, harassment, or any form of discriminatory behaviour will not be tolerated. We reserve the right to ask anyone exhibiting such behaviour to leave immediately with no refund.
